Broncos name Trevor Siemian starting QB

It’s official: Trevor Siemian is the Broncos’ season-opening starting quarterback. Coach Gary Kubiak informed his players early Monday and the team announced shortly after that the second-year player out of Northwestern will take over where Peyton Manning and Brock Osweiler left off. (Denver Post)

FFToday's Take: While Mark Sanchez was signed this off-season, he failed to impress the coaching staff. The writing was on the wall when Siemian was announced as the starter in Preseason Week 3. The Broncos are expected to employ a run-heavy gameplan while Siemian gains experience as a starting QB in the league.
