Seattle Seahawks

Thomas Rawls won't play in 3rd preseason game
Full participant in Tuesday's practice
By: Mike Krueger | Aug 23 2016, 7:30 pm

Another day, another really good practice for Seahawks running back Thomas Rawls on Tuesday. “He looks great,’’ said offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell after Rawls was again a full participant in Seattle’s practice. But while Bevell said Rawls is “doing everything we could possibly ask’’ Rawls will not play Thursday against Dallas in Seattle’s third preseason game. (Seattle Times)

FFToday's Take: While HC Pete Carroll stated that Rawls will not play Thursday night, he's expected to be ready for Week 1. It's unclear if Rawls will suit up for the Seahawks final preseason game. The concern for Rawls will be all the missed time during the off-season and getting his conditioning up to speed. It won't be a surprise if he gets off to a slow start in 2016.
