The Nick Foles era is over in Los Angeles before it even began. The quarterback requested his release from the Rams on Wednesday, and the team granted it, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport and NFL Media's Mike Garfafolo reported. (NFL.com) FFToday's Take: This move has been expected as the team is set to rebuild around rookie Jared Goff with Case Keenum being used as a filler until Goff is ready. Reportedly Foles requested his release. He's a good bet to secure a backup gig in short order.
