| Boldin expected to sign deal with Lions One-year deal expected to be finalized today By: Mike Krueger | Jul 26 2016, 2:05 pm
| The Detroit Lions are planning to sign veteran wide receiver Anquan Boldin to a one-year deal, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Boldin and the Lions, who need depth at receiver in the wake of Calvin Johnson's retirement, were finalizing the deal Tuesday, sources told Schefter.

FFToday's Take: Boldin will be thrown into the mix with Golden Tate, Marvin Jones, Eric Ebron, T.J. Jones and receiving specialist Theo Riddick. Boldin has experience with Jim Caldwell from their days in Baltimore. He's likely more of a depth piece than a major contributor but he's still very capable of having a fantasy impact at age 35. He's shaping up to be a mid-to-late round draft pick with WR4/5 value.
