| Aaron Rodgers drawing raves for his conditioning Reports to camp at 218 pounds By: Doug Orth | Jul 25 2016, 4:15 pm
| Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy raved about his Aaron Rodgers' conditioning on Monday, when players reported for the start of training camp.
"He's in great shape. I would say this is the best shape I've seen him in," McCarthy said.
Rodgers revealed this offseason that he revamped his nutrition plan and, among other things, cut out dairy products. This offseason, he said he was at his lowest weight -- "218-ish" pounds -- since 2007. (ESPN)
FFToday's Take: Rodgers underwent knee surgery in January and said he started thinking about his diet at that time as a way to help extend his career. The 32-year-old former league MVP was already set up to enjoy a bounce-back season even without the weight loss, as Jordy Nelson is back from an ACL tear and Eddie Lacy has shed a few pounds of his own. Rodgers should be locked in as a top-five fantasy quarterback in 2016.
