| HC Dan Quinn discusses 2-point conversion “Sometimes, it’s gut” By: Mike Krueger | Jun 26 2016, 6:00 pm
| Falcons coach Dan Quinn isn’t sure going for two-point conversions all the time is a sound football concept.
“How many things are they going to do from the 2-yard line?’” Quinn said. “You score 50 touchdowns. What 50 two-point plays are you running from there?” “Like most things, knowing when you have an advantage, take it,” Quinn said. (Atlanta Journal-Constitution)
FFToday's Take: Some of the more dynamic offenses in the league (Pittsburgh, Green Bay, New Orleans) have openly discussed the idea of going-for-two more this season. The Falcons attempted 3 two-point conversions last season (38 TDs) and it sounds like Quinn will be leaning more on the conservative side in this discussion meaning no significant benefit for the Falcons offensive skill players can be assumed.
