Will DeAndre Washington have a significant role? Raiders giving rookie reps with first team By: Mike Krueger | Jun 22 2016, 8:00 pm
"Latavius did have to carry a majority of the load, so it will help," offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave said of adding a complementary back. "I think we have a really good stable of runners right now. Someone will emerge." (East Bay Times)
FFToday's Take:The Raiders made it clear this off-season they were interested in improving their running back depth. The only acquisition they made was adding rookie DeAndre Washington who could be inline for a significant role, perhaps forming a RBBC with Latavius Murray. Murray's not likely to duplicate his numbers from last season if Washington can prove he's capable at this level. Washington is worthy of a late-round pick in redraft leagues.
