Redskins land CB Josh Norman
$50 million guaranteed

All-Pro cornerback Josh Norman and the Washington Redskins have agreed to a five-year deal that could be worth as much as $75 million, a source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter on Friday. The contract will include a guaranteed $50 million, according to the NFL Network, the most ever paid to a cornerback. (ESPN)

FFToday's Take: Norman's agent confirmed the deal without giving specific contract details. The surprise release of Norman by the Panthers on Wednesday caused quite the stir across the league. The Panthers cited an inability to come to terms on a long-term deal as the reason for the release. Norman fills a glaring need for a team that allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to wide receivers in 2015.
