James White becoming "dependable" option
Pats OC Josh McDaniels lauds utility, reliability of passing down back
By: Antonio D'Arcangelis | Dec 22 2015, 12:00 pm

It's been an impressive three-week stretch for second-year New England Patriots "running back" James White, who the Pats coaches have praised recently. "James has really come on and been a dependable guy for us," McDaniels said. "His work ethic since we drafted him last year [fourth round] and his maturity, his intelligence, his ability to retain information from one week to the next has always given him an opportunity to know what to do, and then now he’s had those opportunities in game situations to go out there and perform on the field. FFToday's Take: Sounds like White makes for a fine low-end RB2 or high-end RB3/flex play this week. He's got more value (especially in PPR leagues) than Brandon Bolden or even the recently acquired Steven Jackson.
