Andrew Luck ruled out for Week 16
Colts hopeful for Week 17 return
By: Doug Orth | Dec 21 2015, 7:15 pm

Colts coach Chuck Pagano announced Monday that Andrew Luck has been ruled out for Week 16 at Miami. The Colts want Luck to be cleared by doctors for game action with enough time to practice all week before he returns. There is not enough time to do so this week. If the Colts beat the Dolphins and remain in contention for the AFC South title, there remains a chance that Luck will be available for the regular-season finale versus the Titans. Although Luck's lacerated kidney was healthy enough for a return to individual drills last week, he had not yet been cleared for 11-on-11 work. (NFL.com)

FFToday's Take: Pagano described Matt Hasselbeck as "beat up from the feet up" on Monday, suggesting the Colts may need to turn to Charlie Whitehurst with the season on the line at Miami. Whatever remaining value players like T.Y. Hilton and Donte Moncrief had with Hasselbeck is essentially shot with "Clipboard Jesus" under center, although the Dolphins have been very accommodating to quarterbacks in recent weeks.
