Forte "on track" to return for Week 12
Participated in an extensive pregame warmup on Sunday
By: Doug Orth | Nov 23 2015, 4:00 pm

Reserve RB Ka'Deem Carey suffered a concussion in the Bears' loss to the Broncos, which further highlights the need for Matt Forte (knee) to return for Thursday night's game at Green Bay. Forte participated in an extensive pregame warmup on Sunday, and barring an unforeseen setback, appears on track to play against the Packers. (ESPN)

FFToday's Take: Foret hasn't played since spraining his MCL in Week 8, which allowed Jeremy Langford to show he was a more-than-capable backup. The rookie's emergence probably means Forte won't see as many touches as he did prior to the injury, but there doesn't appear to be much threat of a committee here either. Owners should expect Forte to remain a fantasy RB1 for the rest of the season, albeit with a slightly lower workload than before.
