Marshawn Lynch expected to return Week 5
Beast Mode had "best day" Monday -- but was inactive
By: Antonio D'Arcangelis | Oct 6 2015, 9:06 am

The Seahawks played Monday night’s game against the Detroit Lions without running back Marshawn Lynch, just the second time he's missed a game since coming to Seattle in 2010. Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said he could return versus Cincinnati. He was replaced on Monday night by Thomas Rawls and veteran Fred Jackson. (Seahawks.com)

FFToday's Take: Lynch had been listed as questionable on Saturday’s injury report with a hamstring injury, then was downgraded to out a day later. “He wasn’t quite right,” Carroll said. “His best day was today. He ran pretty well in pregame, but they did not think he could sustain through the game and come out healthy again the next week. So we’re hoping that by using patience here, that he’ll be ready to go this next week.”
