K I C K E R S
Player Team Type Comment
Akers, David PHI RFA Another surprising young player on Philly (McNabb and Chad Lewis) who will be back and very productive next year.
Andersen, Morten ATL UFA Who else would want his accurate but "short" leg now?
Bentley, Scott WAS RFA A lingering embarrassment from the Norv Turner era. He's backup material only.
Carney, John SD UFA Remember when he was God's gift to fantasy PKs? Ah, the good old days - get rid of him!
Christie, Steve BUF UFA They need this cold-weather warrior. Expect him to stay and be very productive in the new offense.
Conway, Brett NYJ UFA This once bright star is now only backup material.
Daluiso, Brad NYG UFA His usefulness has been used up in my opinion. But the stubborn Giants are loyal and stick with things that aren’t broken instead of trying to improve them so I expect he'll stay. I wouldn't even consider him on draft day though.
Dawson, Phil CLE RFA On this team, who cares who the PK is.
Kight, Danny IND RFA Backup material only.
Lindsey, Steve DEN RFA He's strictly backup material when somebody is hurt.
Longwell, Ryan GB UFA I'm down on Longwell and would ignore him.
Mare, Olinda MIA UFA Could follow ex-Dolphins special teams coach to Jets and supplant Jeff Hall as the PK. No matter where he goes he's a top 3 PK.
Murray, Eddie WAS UFA An even bigger lingering embarrassment from the Norv Turner era - assume he died this offseason.
Nedney, Joe CAR UFA Will he be back? Too big a gamble for me right now.
Richey, Wade SF RFA Another young PK who should make big bucks with the same team and produce very well.
Seder, Tim DAL RFA Should get a nice big contract from the Cowboys after a very impressive rookie season - nice late round "steal".
Wilkins, Jeff STL UFA Probably more the system than his skill, but he's a stud PK right now - I'm sure he stays and continues to score tons of points.
