Bill's recap of the 2000 fantasy season continues with a look at some of the players who under-performed during the year.

Tony Banks QB BAL Seems like old times for this guy. One minute a superstar, the next a bum. Imagine being benched for Trent Dilfer - ouch! Oh well, all those dreams of his arm leading that brilliant Brian Billick offense are now long gone.
Jon Kitna QB SEA He had such promise in the Holmgren system. Surrounded by good WRs, a genius coach and an efficient offensive scheme, he managed to throw it all away - literally.
Antowain Smith RB BUF Wasn't it just 2 years ago that he was a top 10 back, or close to it? Now he's not even in the top 3 on his own team. Is it him or Wade Phillips? Well, considering he starts Rob Johnson over Flutie, I have to say a lot if it is Wade.
Dorsey Levens RB GB OK, so you can't control injuries, but this was ridiculous. Ahman did what we expected Dorsey to do, and many owners paid the price to hanging onto him and waiting for his return - that never came.
Terrell Davis RB DEN Second year in a row he's made this list. I traded him in one of my leagues for Rich Gannon and Ed McCaffrey and it proved to be the best move I made all year.
Kevin Johnson WR CLE God's gift to WR's last year, he put his owners in hell this year. Hey, it's Cleveland and Tim Couch was out…he'll be back next year.
Peerless Price WR BUF He finished last year the same way he finished this year, very strong. But he hasn't been able to play consistently for a whole year…my mind goes back to the whole Wade Phillips as head coach deal.
Keyshawn Johnson WR TB Big mouth crybaby still had a decent year, but most of it came toward the end. We expected bigger and better things from him and TB this year, but he left too much energy with the reporters and not enough on the field.
Joey Galloway WR SEA Last year it was his salary dispute - poor multimillionaire, this year he got hurt. I don't really care. This guy is a selfish, team-destroying menace and his football talent will never equal his team chemistry destroying talent.
Pete Mitchell TE NYG He was supposed to be the go-to guy in the redzone for Collins, but he never seemed to make it work. Huge bust in the weakest fantasy position.
Todd Peterson K

SEA

He almost led the AFC in scoring last year so he was high on draft lists, then at the last minute he was cut for a rookie. How many of you held onto him thinking he would be picked up right away and got burnt? Uh huh, sure… how 'bout a little honesty folks.
