so cal - That was classic.

Mike M. - I wouldn't let go of Wayne or Bryant, however I would say Maclin has the same opportunity and potential as James Jones, so take your pick on if you would prefer a Packer #2 or a Eagles #2. Also, there is the possibility that Jennings will come back and cannibalize Jones' work. I'd probably stick with who you have. Remember, Hartline's best game is behind him now - he may be worth stashing but I wouldn't bother with trading out a starter for him yet.

Johnny - I would definitely give up Cutler and Bryant for Doug Martin and Brandon Marshall if Tony Romo is your backup QB. Essentially, Romo = Cutler and Bryant = Marshall, they're basically carbon copies of each other. So this trade really comes down to do you want Cutler + Bryant or Romo + Marshall + Martin. I would take the added running back depth since Cutler + Bryant and Romo + Marshall are essentially a wash.

On Doug Martin: You're basically getting something for nothing by trading for Martin, so in this case he is worth it. He still has fantasy value, and will be a great bye week or flex play. I would play the matchups each week between Martin and Sproles.

Im trying to add depth and break up my Romo/Bryant combo. Both have dismal so far and my other to backs or CJ2???? crap. and sproles and Mathews. Does a Cutler and Bryant for Doug Martin and Brandon Marshall make sense? Your article just said Martin is not a good add. He also has Rice(not willing to part with? and Ridley. And I hate the Billicheck weekly merry go round of backs and schemes. What do you think??? Hold fast or amke the move???

@ Mike M., probably not. But you could probably justify dropping Maclin if you have your heart set on Hartline.

My favorite replacement ref moment was John Fox's absolute meltdown over a "12 men on the field" call. It was just like a toddler throwing a tantrum in the toy store. I was waiting for him to throw himself on the ground -- kicking and screaming.

Then the replay shows not only 12 defenders on the field, but 12 of them lined up in the formation. Brilliant!

In my book, Fox just edged out John Gruden's 20 minute "hissy-fit" over the "call" in the GB game. BTW, the "real refs" sure did a great job in GB this week... LOL!! The shortest honeymoon ever!
