I just sold high on Spiller right before Sunday’s game (for Matt Forte). I’m not sure I’d part ways with Torrey unless I could get at least second round value in return. In every draft I participated in this season I targeted RB depth cause it was pretty easy to see that RB was going to be a tricky position to fill this year.

Never seen a RB situation more hideous. No one wants to let go of one. In regard to Torrey; I think he is a sell high. It’s difficult to start him even after that performance. I’ve employed a screw RB strategy which includes picking up all the best pass catcher WR/TEs and QB. Let the masses fight over RB, while you sell them for more than their worth. PPR of course.

Regarding Torrey Smith, maybe it’s just confirmation bias, but it seems like when somebody goes through a personal tragedy like that, they often react with big numbers–at least going back to when Favre’s dad died, jeez, was that already ten years ago?

Now I’m looking to sell high on Torrey Smith this week after that emotional performance.

I’ve got both Reggie Bush and Forte stinking up my bench–is it especially hard to pry RBs out of other owners’ clenched fists this year or what?
