Let’s see if Rodriguez’s blocking continues to excel at the pro level. With Davis ahead of him, he has the chance to earn some playing time but I have plenty of doubt the Bears will find plenty of ways to use him in 2012.

His “lack of ability” blocking allowed Bernard Pierce to score 5 TDs in a game vs Maryland last year and 27 overall. He was taken before when 90% of the “experts” were predicting. He is clearly the most talented, all-around TE on the roster and the Bears will find many ways to use him this season.
