If the Browns had Peyton Hillis all year……they might have won six games. Oh the Madden curse…..and a boring dink,dunk, west coast offense. Since 1999 we as Browns fans always have hope that the next draft brings us up to mediocrity! We couldn’t say that from 1996-1998, and with that I count my blessings every day. I have a team that cannot shake loose, living here in Los Angeles. Go Seneca Wallace. Win that game 17-14 in Arizona tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tim:injuries are part of the game. Depth gets a team to the playoffs. So saying if a team had 3 of it’s players, it would go to the superbowl is hogwash. Greenbay went all the way with a multitude of injuries, last year. Houston is a step down in it’s depth (on offense)to get them there. Houston’s schedule was quite easy this year also. I must say that they drafted great defensive depth this year. Having Tate and aquiring a probowl type cornerback in the free agency were great factors toward their success!

Homey I agree whether Yates can get it done. But the difference on the woulda, coulda is the Texans Offense has been good last few years. Now the defense is very good. So yes the woulda, coulda is a legit discussion Texans would be favorites out of AFC. BTW with Delhomme & Garcia as Backups to Yates. Those 2 QB’s with their experience are being used to help Yates prepare.

SAM G: Go to yahoo sports weekly rankings. They take all the fantasy sites lead writers on web starts and you compare 2 players. Similar to rotten tomatoes movie ratings. Robinson #18 in stand & 23 PPR. Washington is 28 & 27 overall. It’s 83% – 17% overall. Washington practiced fully Fri & Robinson is #3 WR now. Link at fantasypros.com

Dave,
I agree about Big Ben. He may be iffy for Monday night in week 15, but next year he is a Top 10 QB. In fact, he has always been a Top 10 in my book in these past few years drafts. He is the perennial sleeper until folks realize the Steelers are a pass team and not a run team anymore.

No way Texans going anywhere far in playoffs with Yates playing QB. Baltimore D, Pittsburgh D etc would make mince meat outta of the rook. It’s all about the health year in, year out when it comes to the NFL. Woulda, coulda, shoulda, if Johnson, Schaub, and Williams were healthy. Teams every year have the woulda, coulda, shouldas…Maybe next year Texans..Take care.

One could make the argument as well that if Houston gets a healthy Johnson back for the playoffs, after watching the play of TJ Yates and the defense the past few weeks, the Texans are still one of the few AFC teams with a legit shot at the Superbowl, especially if they secure home field advantage. I swear that offensive line of theirs would make CJ Spiller a superstar…hell, even Ryan Torrain…

You can make a great argument if not for Andre Johnson’s injury, Matt Schaub’s injury & Mario Williams injury. The Texans would be the clear favorite to win the AFC and possibly win SuperBowl.
