Agreed – Fitzpatrick is a middle of the road starter and not worhty of placing a long term bet on. That being said, QBs get paid a lot these days so the contract isn’t as out of line as you think.

I realize Fitz played well. But I saw him play for Bengals in 07 with Palmer hurt. Fitz arm is weak. I doubt there was any big drumbeat around league to sign Fitz away from bills. Just silly… Plus who would have been available in draft. Now Bills are stuck with Fitz. What if they lose rest of their games and end up in top of draft. Good QB’s available after Luck in Barkly and Jones…
