I agree that it was nice to see Cutler’s O-line step up against the Vikings, but I really don’t see Carson Palmer putting up numbers significantly better than what Jason Campbell was doing. Here is what I would do – roll with Hightower and Torain so you don’t have to cut anybody. I’m not sold on any of your RB options and I wouldn’t want to cut any of the guys you mention or the 49ers D.

@ Tim in Indy,
Spiller is filling in for Donald Jones who will be back at some point. I would be fine starting him until Jones returns and 5-6 receptions per game seems reasonable.

Dave if you see my reply… I work nites. FA is based on Low Points order. As I am 3rd highest 12 team RT Sports $100 money league. Missed on Morris and Got Don Brown. Found out Ron Brown trade was nixed. I ended up with Colts Brown. Have play Sproles & Brown as Bradshaw out on bye. As I mentioned in 1st post. DAVE what is your opinion on Bills using Spiller as WR for rest of year due to WR injuries. If Spiller in that role. Spiller is valuable if he is getting 4-5 catches a week as a Backup RB. As in most leagues RB’s are sparse. I was using all 3 RB’s with Flex. Best out will use WR as flex.

My question is who to drop in preparation for week 8 in my 1/2 pt PPR league, I have M.Turner & M.Forte going on bye in week 8. I have both Hightower & Torain to fill one RB spot but I have to drop 1 of these – K2(I Start J Graham), 49ers DST(I’m starting Texans now), DHB(Oak, Greg Little(Cle) to pick up 1 of the follwing: M. Morris(Det), T. Choice(Dal), P. Thomas(NO),o rall 3 of the Indy backs. Who should I drop and pick up for week 8 only I’ll go back to my starters that.

At some point, a lack of targets catches up to you.

@ Andrew,
I don’t think Ballard is the most athletic TE and he’s likely benefitting from being forgotten by opposing defenses. At some point, that ends and talent wins out. I don’t consider him a solid, long term prospect but he’s fine to ride for the balance of 2011 as a mid tier or low end TE2.

@ Mike,
If I’m rolling the dice on one of them, it’s Crabtree. 49ers offense looks better so he should get more scoring opportunities and he’s been in the league longer. Hard to expect rookies to shine, notwithstanding A.J. Green’s amazing performance.

Somehow, I came out of the last waiver draft with both Greg Little and Michael Crabtree. Just curious, who is going to have the better “rest of the year”?
