@ Eric
I'm not saying you should trade him or downgrade him in a big way but it's clear the Texans have been looking for a running game and it's clear Foster provided it. If you believe that he's talented (I do), then they will pass less this year.

@ Rick
I'm not saying there's a trend here. I'm saying Foster's good and they will use the running game more than in 2009. That has been their objective for two years now.

@ Doug
Alex Smith wasn't great but there was some strange play calling in that one and Michael Crabtree was a big part of Smith's problem. Both can be fixed going forward. Don't give up on Smith just yet.

you would think after the past couple seasons, the 49ers would have recognized their desperate need of a quarterback. Maybe if they brought in a veteran??
Alex Smith was a poor draft pick. Admit it and swallow it and cut your ties. Your chances of going anywhere this season depends on it.
If a 3rd string quarterback like dennis dixon can come in and manage a win for the steelers,...........take some pride in your team SF, GET A QUARTERBACK .

I'd certainly be hesitant to suggest that Matt Schaub won't reach 2009-10 numbers after one game. Gary Kubiak is no friend to fantasy running backs. Two Foster fumbles (and he does fumble) and Schaub will be airing it out. After my disaster with Steve Slaton last season I'd never trust another Gary Kubiak RB again.

@ Thomas
Foster is definitely looking good.

@ Arago
Collie definitely could have made the list but not sold yet that he's going to be a consistent option in Indy.

@ Jem
Gresham looks good and I like him in dynasty leagues. Generally, rookie tight ends struggle but perhaps Gresham will be the exception.

@ Lee
Definitely prefer Cassel this week. Browns gave up big yardage to Freeman last week.

@ bv
Well, the running game is clearly improved so that should translate into fewer passing attempts which generally means fewer passing yards. And it's a small minority that doesn't get excited by a 200 yard rushing performance.

@ Jon
Not too down on Schaub, just far less convinced that he will be in the top five. I had him ranked #2 entering the season.

One week and Foster is a stud and Matt Schaub a bum? Let's check your projections for week two and see if they are as accurate as the ones for week 1, which weren't even close, experts.
