You should know your league structure coming into the draft – how many starter/bench roster spots you need to fill and scoring for the league as this can heavily impact your drafting strategy.

A plan before the draft is crucial since drafts can go by pretty quickly and you’ve missed that player you wanted.

A tiered drafting strategy is definitely worthwhile, as going strictly by rankings can be deceiving, when there is a drop off from one tier of players to another.
