 John
was born and raised in the East Bay explaining his affinity for
Silver and Black. He grew up loving sports so the participation
in fantasy football way only natural. He moved from California to
the high desert of Nevada in 1989 to continue his teaching career
where he met an avid group of fantasy players. His participation
in fantasy sports began long before the digital age. Since the advent
of digital fantasy sports he has participated in a variety of leagues
enjoying each of the experiences.
In Elko he met his wife Heather. Her daughter, Amber, provided
him with twin grand daughters a few years ago and he loves them
all. Over the years John has used this added support to begin
pushing his sports writing. In addition to being a long time contributor
for Fantasy Football Today, he also writes for a Northern Nevada
weekly called Game Night. The publication high lights prep athletes
from all over the region.
When he is not writing, teaching, being grandpa, husband or father
John enjoys playing golf, fly fishing and writing fictional history
about Nevada. Fantasy football plays an important role in John’s
life and writing for Fantasy Football Today is a distinct privilege.
