The Shot Caller's Report - WRs/TEs
Your Weekly Guide To Fantasy Lineups
9/21/07
Positions: QBs | RBs | WRs/TEs

Wide Receivers

Must Start:

Joey Galloway v. STL: This may be obvious after last week, but someone out there may not be convinced. The Rams secondary can’t cover Galloway.

Santana MossDeion Branch v. CIN: Which Deion will show up in Week Three? Will it be the one who gave us absolutely nothing the first week or the guy who caught seven passes for 122 yards last week? Against the Bengals, I will go with option two. If not, Branch will be dead to me.

Reggie Brown v. DET: Eventually the Eagles will remember they are an offensive powerhouse. The Lions will certainly provide the opportunity.

Santana Moss v. NYG: The New York Giants are coming to town, receivers everywhere rejoice!

Bernard Berrian v. DAL: He didn’t really get the job done last week but the Cowboys are capable of making Rex Grossman look like a real NFL quarterback. Stranger things have happened.

Grab Some Pine:

Lee Evans Lee Evans @ NE: Whether you start him hinges on a single question: Can he catch a long touchdown? We know he can get open, but his quarterback hasn’t been able to deliver. With the Bills visiting Foxborough, wait another week before you plug him into your lineup.

Darrell Jackson @ PIT: Don’t even think about it in Pittsburgh.

Vincent Jackson @ GB: His bandwagon emptied quicker than a bachelor party when the beer runs out. Until he does something, you can’t start him.

Jacoby Jones @ IND: This is the week the Texans crash back to reality. The best thing they had going for them was Andre Johnson and, with him out, the team becomes very mediocre if not downright crappy. Yes, crappy is the appropriate word here.

Jerricho Cotchery v. MIA: For anyone out there not paying attention, Cotchery has 13 catches for 222 yards so far this year. This week the Miami defense will cause enough havoc to prevent Cotchery from being able to do much.
