You’ve probably noticed the Shot Caller’s Report was not published this week. Unfortunately, there’s been no mistake. There’s also only one person to blame for that: the Shot Caller. Regrettably, I will not be able to produce the piece any longer. I could probably give you several reasons why it doesn’t work out for me anymore, folks, but I think the one you’ll all be able to relate to is this: it simply takes up too much of my time. I’ve got a wife, some kids, a couple jobs, and I even occasionally need to catch forty winks. That’s become increasingly harder to do and yet still find extra time to write the Report every week. Make sense? Bottom line: something had to give and the hobby is the casualty.

I want you all to know the thing I’ll miss most is bantering back and forth with those of you who took the time to start up an e-conversation with me. It’s not a stretch to say I’ve made several virtual friends and, luckily, only a few enemies (you know who you are!) Hopefully, I won’t lose you all because I’m bailing out on the season midstream.

Regardless, I’ll see you all down the road. Have a fantastic finish to the season and thanks for making these past few years so enjoyable.
